Tailor’s Workshop – Newcastle, NSW, Australia

Looking for breakfast on a rainy morning, we decided to give the Tailor’s Workshop a try and we weren’t disappointed. Being at the end of the busy Beaumont Street strip, parking was easy and the dismal weather meant street-side dining was out, but inside was warm and cosy with a bit of an old-school Mediterranean vibe.
The welcome was friendly, coffee (a 50/50 Brazilian/Ethiopian blend) was strong but not bitter and the food, delicious. I went for the Macedonian Scramble which was full of peppers with a serious chilli bite (they did ask for my preference). The other meal at our table was the Big Breakfast and it received a big thumbs up! From a viewing perspective, I can say it was certainly aesthetically pleasing – everything looked so fresh (not like some, sad offerings). Service was efficient and friendly and we will definitely be back.
