Antartica

We always knew we wanted to go to Antarctica but having never cruised before, the decision about which ship was super important. From the moment we stepped on board Seabourn Venture, I knew we made the best choice.
She’s a PC6 polar class expedition ship with a capacity for approx. 250 passengers & a guest to staff ratio of almost 1:1.
Each of those staff members are the best of the best. Sweet, kind & extremely generous with their time.
For food & beverages there are two restaurants, three bars & an informal cafe/library/bar. On top of that, any item from any of the restaurants & bars can be delivered to our room 24hrs a day.
On board, we have access to two subs, dozens of zodiacs & an expedition team that consists of supremely enthusiastic experts in the fields of geography, history, birds, marine life, geology & photography. They share their passion with us every day in the form of tours, lectures & impromptu chats.
To keep us amused when we’re not exploring or eating, there’s a spa (with sauna) & gym, a swimming pool & four hot tubs.
It’s a luxury experience in all aspects & I’m still not sure I’m a ‘cruise person’ but I could be a Seabourn person. @seabourncruise
